Nissan Counter Balance ICE Forklifts
Counterbalance forklifts are essentially forklifts designed with a counterweight at the rear of the machine to balance the weight being carried by the forks at the front. Internal combustion (IC or ICE) forklifts run on diesel, petrol or gas. They outperform electric forklifts in heavy-duty applications. IC forklifts have ‘more power’ and are ‘faster’. Where recharging the batter of an electric forklift, IC forklifts can be refuelled ‘on the fly’. ICE forklifts can be fitted with rough-terrain tires and designed for extreme environments. Despite a global trend away from internal combustion engine (ICE) forklifts, there are many applications and markets where this robust and reliable technology maintains its position.
